HOW LONG IS THE NECKLACE?

About 19 inches, measured from the top of the necklace down to the lowest point as it hangs on you. It is about 2.5 inches wide at the base, each side design is about 1.25 inches wide, and the back strap is about 0.3 inches wide.

HOW DOES IT FASTEN?

It does not. There is no clasp — the necklace is a closed loop and goes on over the head.

IS IT HEAVY?

The set weighs about 70 grams, which is lighter than the size of the flowers suggests — the petals are built from tiny glass beads and hollow rather than solid. It sits comfortably through an evening.

IS IT REVERSIBLE?

No. The flowers are three-dimensional and sit on the front of the necklace, so it has a right side and a wrong side. The beadloom pieces in the store are the reversible ones.

WHY IS A THREE-DIMENSIONAL FLOWER DIFFICULT TO BEAD?

Because there is no chart. Freehand beading is worked from the maker's hands rather than from a row-by-row plan, and here the flower is built up in layers that stand off the surface, each one made separately and then anchored into the strap, with the stamens added last. The two sides of the necklace have to come out matching without either one ever being measured against the other.

WHAT IS IT MADE OF?

Glass seed beads, beaded freehand by hand. No stones, no plating. The earrings are hook danglers, so the set is not metal-free.

WILL THE COLOURS FADE?

The colour is in the glass, not painted on the surface, so it does not fade with wear or sunlight. Keep the piece away from perfume, hairspray and chemicals, which can dull the finish over time.

DOES IT COME IN ANOTHER COLOUR?

Yes — the same design is in the store in yellow, white and mauve.

WHAT COLOUR SAREE SHOULD I WEAR IT WITH?

HOW DO I CARE FOR IT?

Keep it away from water, perfume and chemicals, put your perfume on first and let it dry, take it off before bathing or swimming, wipe it with a soft dry cloth, and store it dry and flat in an airtight pouch so the flowers keep their shape.

Yes. You get exactly the same product that you order. Boxing video or image of the chosen product will be sent to you at the time of packing so you can be assured that you get what you ordered.

What beads do you use in your bead jewellery?

In my bead jewellery category, ONLY imported Preciosa Glass seed beads ranging from 1mm to 3mm sizes are used.

Will the colours of the beads fade or run?

The colours are part of the glass that makes the bead. It is NOT coated. So the colours will not run. They will not fade even after repeated use.

Will this jewellery be comfortable? Will it tarnish?

Since both macrame and bead jewellery on the website use minimal metal, tarnishing is NEVER EVEN a problem.

Macrame jewellery is made with thread and is very light weight and comfortable. The jewellery becomes more pliable with wear and so it becomes more comfortable to wear with repeated use.

How long will this jewellery last?

With the right care, macrame and bead jewellery can last for years. I personally have pieces that are over 7 years old (as of 2026). I have customers who still send me pictures of them wearing the jewellery a year or more after purchasing it.

How long will delivery take and do you ship internationally?

Bead jewellery are shipped within 24 hours of order confirmation. Macrame jewellery are typically made to order and take between 3-10 business days depending on the size of the order.

Delivery within Tamil Nadu takes between 1-2 business days.
Delivery to other Metro cites take between 2-4 business days.
Delivery to all other locations take between 3-5 business days.
