HOW BIG IS IT?

The pendant is circular, 3 inches in diameter. The dori runs to 25 inches on each side including the extension. The earrings are circular hook danglers, 1 inch in diameter.

No. The whole set weighs 49 g — the body is cotton fabric and beads, not metal or stone.

CAN I ADJUST THE LENGTH?

Yes. The dori runs to 25 inches on each side including the extension, so you can wear it high on the collarbone or sitting lower, depending on the neckline.

WHAT IS IT MADE OF?

Two layers of cotton fabric — an orange ground with a blue circle appliqued over it — with a nature scene modelled in hand-shaped clay, backed in black cotton, and wooden and cotton beads along the dori. The earring wires are metal, so this is not a metal-free piece.

WHAT IS APPLIQUE?

One piece of fabric laid and fixed onto another rather than printed on it. Here a blue circle sits on an orange ground, which is what gives the pendant a visible edge and a second level before the clay goes on at all.

WILL THE CLAY CHIP?

The clay motifs are shaped, dried and painted by hand, then set onto the fabric. They take ordinary wear, but a hard knock against a hard edge is what to avoid, and they should not be stored under anything heavy.

CAN I WASH IT?

No. This is cotton fabric over a worked base, so it cannot be washed, soaked or wiped with a damp cloth. Keep it dry.

WILL THE FABRIC FRAY?

Every edge is turned and the back is closed with black fabric, so no cut edge is left exposed. Keep it away from velcro and anything with a rough weave.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR IT WITH?

HOW DO I CARE FOR IT?

Keep away from water entirely — do not wash, soak or wipe with a damp cloth
Apply perfume and hairspray first, and let them dry before wearing
Remove before bathing, swimming or heavy sweating
Do not fold or crush the pendant; store it flat
Store dry and separate, ideally in a soft pouch

A round pendant built from two layers of fabric — an orange ground with a blue circle appliqued onto it — and a nature scene modelled in clay on top of that. The earrings carry individual clay birds in the same palette.

Three levels in one pendant: the ground, the applique, and the clay sitting proud of both. The scene is small enough that each bird is shaped separately and set in place, which is also why no two pendants arrange themselves identically.

The set weighs 49 grams. The back is closed with black cotton, and wooden and cotton beads run along both sides of a dori that adjusts to 25 inches.

Warm colours and a round shape, so it suits daylight and outdoor occasions better than an evening one.

Pre-paid orders may be cancelled within 24h of order placement. A 5% payment gateway charge will apply.
All COD orders require order confirmation through a phone call (I shall call you).
Customized or made-to-order items are non-cancellable, non-returnable, and non-refundable, and are always pre-paid.
Returns/replacements for non-customized items must be initiated within 48h of delivery through WhatsApp. COD returns/replacements can be initiated only after payment is received.
For damaged products, an unboxing video is required. Once verified, The Yarn Artisan Store bears all return and replacement shipping costs.
For preference-based returns/replacements (including change of mind or choosing a different design/colour), no unboxing video is required. Yes. You get exactly the same product that you order. Boxing video or image of the chosen product will be sent to you at the time of packing so you can be assured that you get what you ordered.

What beads do you use in your bead jewellery?

In my bead jewellery category, ONLY imported Preciosa Glass seed beads ranging from 1mm to 3mm sizes are used.

Will the colours of the beads fade or run?

The colours are part of the glass that makes the bead. It is NOT coated. So the colours will not run. They will not fade even after repeated use.

Will this jewellery be comfortable? Will it tarnish?

Since both macrame and bead jewellery on the website use minimal metal, tarnishing is NEVER EVEN a problem.

Macrame jewellery is made with thread and is very light weight and comfortable. The jewellery becomes more pliable with wear and so it becomes more comfortable to wear with repeated use.

How long will this jewellery last?

With the right care, macrame and bead jewellery can last for years. I personally have pieces that are over 7 years old (as of 2026). I have customers who still send me pictures of them wearing the jewellery a year or more after purchasing it.

How long will delivery take and do you ship internationally?

Bead jewellery are shipped within 24 hours of order confirmation. Macrame jewellery are typically made to order and take between 3-10 business days depending on the size of the order.

Delivery within Tamil Nadu takes between 1-2 business days.
Delivery to other Metro cites take between 2-4 business days.
Delivery to all other locations take between 3-5 business days.

Do you offer returns & exchanges?

Yes. Returns and exchanges are offered on select products in case of damage or wrong product being shipped. Custom orders cannot be returned or exchanged.
