HOW LONG IS THE NECKLACE?

About 14 inches, measured from the top of the necklace down to the lowest point as it hangs on you, and about 1.2 inches wide.

HOW DOES IT FASTEN?

It does not. There is no clasp — the necklace is a closed loop and goes on over the head.

IS IT HEAVY?

It weighs about 77 grams. That is a substantial piece, but seed beads distribute the weight along the whole panel rather than concentrating it at one point, so it does not drag at the neck.

IS IT REVERSIBLE?

Yes. Beadloom weaving has no wrong side — the pattern reads the same from either face, so it cannot be worn the wrong way round.

WHY IS A DIAMOND PATTERN DIFFICULT TO WEAVE?

Because the bead count changes on every single row. The upper half of each diamond adds a bead on each side and the lower half takes one away, so there is no row the weaver can work on autopilot. A miscount that a curved motif would absorb shows up here as a crooked point.

WHAT IS IT MADE OF?

15/0 glass seed beads, woven on a hand loom. The gold shade is gold-toned glass — there is no gold and no plating in it. The earrings are hook danglers, so the set is not metal-free.

WILL THE COLOURS FADE?

The colour is in the glass, not painted on the surface, so it does not fade with wear or sunlight. Keep the piece away from perfume, hairspray and chemicals, which can dull the finish over time.

WHAT COLOUR SAREE SHOULD I WEAR IT WITH?

Black for a tonal look, or royal blue, mustard, gold or white for contrast. White reads as daytime; black and gold suit a wedding or a reception.

WILL IT SUIT A SAREE?

Yes. At 14 inches it sits high on the chest, close to a choker line, so it works with a high or closed neckline as well as an open one.

Keep it away from water, perfume and chemicals, put your perfume on first and let it dry, take it off before bathing or swimming, wipe it with a soft dry cloth, and store it dry in an airtight pouch.

A beadloom necklace and earring set worked in 15/0 seed beads — a bold diamond geometric in black, blue and gold. Handmade by women artisans in North India, selected for the evenness of the work.

Why this one is in the store

A diamond is the least forgiving shape on a loom. Every row of the upper half adds a bead on each side and every row of the lower half takes one away, so the count changes on every single pass, and a miscount that a curve would hide shows up here as a crooked point. This one has the points where they should be, on both sides of every diamond.

How to wear it

Customized or made-to-order items are non-cancellable, non-returnable, and non-refundable, and are always pre-paid.

Yes. You get exactly the same product that you order. Boxing video or image of the chosen product will be sent to you at the time of packing so you can be assured that you get what you ordered.

What beads do you use in your bead jewellery?

In my bead jewellery category, ONLY imported Preciosa Glass seed beads ranging from 1mm to 3mm sizes are used.

Will the colours of the beads fade or run?

The colours are part of the glass that makes the bead. It is NOT coated. So the colours will not run. They will not fade even after repeated use.

Will this jewellery be comfortable? Will it tarnish?

Since both macrame and bead jewellery on the website use minimal metal, tarnishing is NEVER EVEN a problem.

Macrame jewellery is made with thread and is very light weight and comfortable. The jewellery becomes more pliable with wear and so it becomes more comfortable to wear with repeated use.

How long will this jewellery last?

With the right care, macrame and bead jewellery can last for years. I personally have pieces that are over 7 years old (as of 2026). I have customers who still send me pictures of them wearing the jewellery a year or more after purchasing it.

How long will delivery take and do you ship internationally?

Bead jewellery are shipped within 24 hours of order confirmation. Macrame jewellery are typically made to order and take between 3-10 business days depending on the size of the order.

Delivery within Tamil Nadu takes between 1-2 business days.
Delivery to other Metro cites take between 2-4 business days.
Delivery to all other locations take between 3-5 business days.
